We specialise in publications about narrow gauge and industrial railways in all their forms, from the historic and picturesque lines of popular renown to the workaday systems, large and small, which kept (and in some cases, still keep) industries of every kind operating. Our emphasis is mainly on the United Kingdom but we also cover European and overseas subjects, and our aim is to produce material of the highest quality, both in content and production values.

Narrow Gauge & Industrial is an established name in this specialist publishing field and will remain so. In order to secure its future, NG&I has become part of Greystar Publications, founded by Bob Barlow, former editor of Model Railway Journal, specifically for the purpose. The standards, values and service established by NG&I under Roy Link’s control remain, as indeed does Roy himself.

You will not yet find our publications on sale in high street bookshops or newsagents due to their specialist content. Some dedicated outlets stock NARROW GAUGE & INDUSTRIAL RAILWAY MODELLING, as do some exhibition traders. However, to be absolutely sure of obtaining your regular copy, we advise taking out a subscription.
